Classic Swedish sailer, with a lot of atmosphere from the era of wooden sailyachts, though it has a strong GFK hull. All of the cabin and cockpit is made of solid mahogny. Sails well and moves gracefully in high sea.
All wooden parts were sanded till fresh wooden suface in 2013 and impregnated with several givings of linseed oil, and then sealed with resistant Benar-oil coating. This ensures an easy-to-maintain surface protection system, wich needs only small topping-up every other year or so.
The keel was given a thorough oversight at shipyard in 2009, where a full new GFK-coating was appplied.
The sail wardrobe include a standard set of mainsail, genoa, and jib, and also a large gennacker for tail-wind speed sailing.
The original wooden mast is still in use, and was renovated in 2011.
A revision of the original Albin O21 gasoline engine has been initiated but still needs some finishing work.
